Around 16 lakh students take the SSC exams (meant for class 10) in Maharashtra every year.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results 2015 were expected to be announced on 6 June but the board has not indicated any confirmed date at the moment. The students will be able to check their exam results on the board's official website by entering their board exam roll numbers. The SSC exams for the standard 10 were conducted in March, 2015.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, is an autonomous body. The MSBSHSE conducts the HSC (12th) and SSC (10th) Examinations in Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at various sites in states which are: Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year, there are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Junior colleges in the state.

Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary Maharashtra STD-X Roll Number 2017 will conduct annual final examinations for class X.
